UAE’s President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan received at Al Bahr Palace Sunday well-wishers on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr in the presence of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
Sheikh Zayed, accompanied by a host of dignitaries, earlier offered prayers at the Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed mosque. The dignitaries who called on Sheikh Zayed included sheikhs, ministers, top military and civilian officials, members of the Abu Ahabi Executive Council, members of the National Consultative Council (NCC), members of the Federal National Council (FNC) and citizens.
According to Gulf News, Sheikh Zayed also received Eid greetings from General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and UAE Defence Minister, and Sheikh Khalid bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ras Al Khaimah Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler.
