Poland reports airspace violation after Russian strikes on Ukraine

ALBAWABA - Following a night of deadly Russian strikes on Ukraine, the Polish Army announced a violation of its airspace, possibly by a drone.

Operational Commander of the Polish Armed Forces General Maciej Klisz told reporters: "We are probably dealing with the entry of an object on Polish territory. The object was confirmed by at least three radiolocation stations. probably an unmanned aerial vehicle,".

The Polish Forces released a statement on X regarding the unusual aerial activity.

"Since the early morning hours, intensive activity of long-range aviation of the Russian Federation has been observed, associated with strikes carried out on targets in the western territory of Ukraine," the statement reads. 

An unconfirmed report by Visegrád 24 claimed: "Russian suicide drone intruded Poland airspace this morning" and struck Poland.
