A Tara Air flight, which was heading from the tourist town of Pokhara to the mountain town of Jomsom, has gone missing, Nepalese airport authorities said on Sunday.
According to local media, the plane was carrying 22 people when it lost contact with the airport control tower shortly after take-off.
The Home Ministry in Nepal revealed that it has sent private helicopters to search for the missing plane.
