Participants Counting down for Red Bull Qaher Al-Amwaj Jet Ski Competition
Launching Red Qaher Al-Amwaj Jet Ski Competition on Friday May 29 is counting down. The event will take place in Marsa Al-Ahlam at Gulf of Abhur Corniche, north of Jeddah city. The championship will be the biggest ever in marine sport " Jet Ski " in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the supervision of the Saudi Arabian Maritime Sports Federation. The readiness of the participants is at its full swing currently. Meanwhile the Middle East champion, Rashid Altaer, will offer intensive courses on Thursday, one day before the competition , in addition to the self training of the participants themselves.
Salem Al-Qathmey (secondary school student -18 year old), is considered the first contestant, who registered his name to participate in Red Qaher Al-Amwaj Jet Ski Competition. He has been keen to pursue his heavy training for 4 times a week since the first moment of registration.
On the other hand, Majed Bakheet, (Student of Brighton University in UK - 22 year), mentioned that he has utterly decided to participate when he was informed that the championship will be subject to the international measures applied by Red Bull in all global sport competitions. Majed was overwhelmed by not only participation in the competition, but also for the intensive training he will obtain under the supervision of the UAE champ Rashid Al-Tayer.
Majed believes that the Red Qaher Al-Amwaj Jet Ski Competition, offers participants a golden chance to join internal and external intensive training courses which are controlled by world experts for all participants. Majed Bakheet continues to describe this step as an important initiative to enhance Jet Ski sport in Saudi Arabia; as it is still in need of support with international expertise either through organizing or through participation.
From his side ,Yousef Al-Qathmey, (Student at Jeddah College of Technology -22 year ), who is a Jet ski veteran since 7 years, expects that the title of Red Qaher Al-Amwaj Jet Ski Competition will be the dearest title he is seeking to collect to crown all the local titles he won. He is aim now is to be crowned in the most important Saudi championship in Jet ski under the supervision of world expertise, as an important step to open the door for him to participate in international events in the name of Saudi Arabia .
