A spokesman for British mega-star Phil Collins announced that the singer and his third wife, Orianne, 28, were expecting their first child next year, reported ABC online.
Orianne is said to be three months pregnant.
"It is very early days yet and they have not even told all the members of their families yet," the spokesman told the BBC.
Collins already has two adult children and an 11-year-old daughter from his previous marriages.
Collins rose to prominence as drummer in the 1970s of British art-rock band Genesis. He later took over from Peter Gabriel as the band's vocalist before forging a solo career in 1995.
He has had a string of hit singles and earlier this year won an Oscar for the song You'll Be in My Heart from the animated movie Tarzan.
He married Orianne, his former interpreter, in July 1999 at a celebrity-studded ceremony in Switzerland – Albawaba.com.
