Palestinian President Yasser Arafat’s morale is high, according to a Palestinian official in an interview with Al Jazira satellite channel on Thursday evening.
“The president led worshipers at the sunset prayers, while Israel was attacking Gaza from the air and the sea,” said Adli Sadeq, undersecretary of the Palestinian Planning and International Cooperation Ministry.
Sadeq added that President Arafat has received several calls from Arab kings and presidents during the aggression.
The CNN reported that Arafat toured the sites hit by the Israeli attacks in Gaza city where 30 people were injured. The station said the leader was accompanied by UN envoy Terry Larsen on his tour of inspection – (Several Sources)
