One&Only The Palm, Dubai's most intimate new beach resort, welcomed its first guests from Europe and the Middle East this.

With only 64 rooms, 26 suites and four private beachfront villas, the boutique resort blends Moorish and Andalusian architecture with contemporary interiors and promises to become Dubai's most intimate new beach resort. The property's stylish guest rooms and suites are secluded in a residential environment housed within a tri-level manor house and six low-rise mansions, all set in lush landscaped gardens along 450 meters of private beach.
Apart from the intimate settings of the rooms and mansions, the hotel's restaurants also promise a new experience to guests. Under the culinary guidance of Michelin-star chef Yannick Alléno, One&Only The Palm's restaurants, ZEST, STAY by Yannick Alléno and 101 on the marina (opening on 1 December), will indulge guests with an array of creative local and international cuisine adding to the appeal for residents of Dubai as well.
One&Only the Palm is the first hotel in Dubai to introduce air conditioned poolside cabana suites along the 850m2 temperature controlled swimming pool, with indoor and outdoor lounge areas, LCD screens and en-suite bathrooms and showers.
The island get-away character of the resort is further supported by its extensive wellness and recreation offering. The all-suite One&Only Private Spa invites guests to unwind in nine beautifully appointed individual Spa Suites with private outdoor patios. The comprehensive treatment menu includes a collection of unique signature treatments and three or five day wellness journeys intended to restore natural equilibrium and fitness levels.
The spa facilities are complemented by a state-of-the-art Fitness Centre, boasting an 18-meter, outdoor lap pool and a dedicated Beauty Salon featuring a pedicure and manicure studio by established Podiatrist Bastien Gonzalez and Hair Salon under the guidance of hair stylist Alexandre Zouari.
Patrons of the One&Only Royal Mirage also have the opportunity to visit One&Only The Palm by a special water taxi service, starting early December 2010.
