Noodles to reopen amid great fanfare
Triumphant return of interactive Chinese restaurant
at Rosewood Corniche
Rosewood Corniche, Jeddah’s top ultra-luxury hotel, has announced the return of Noodles, its unique interactive Chinese restaurant.
Closed for the Holy Month of Ramadan, Noodles is now reopening for diners looking for innovative spins on traditional Chinese cuisine. Guests are treated to an open-show kitchen where dishes are freshly prepared before their eyes, an educational and entertaining experience.
In celebration of the reopening, Rosewood Corniche is revealing an updated menu including traditional Chinese specialities from many regions. One of China’s most famous delicacies, shark fin soup, is prominently featured on the menu. Peking Duck receives particular attention as well, as chefs carve and serve the dish alongside tables in the dining area. Stir-fried lamian noodles and fresh lobster are other new menu additions.
The interactive restaurant is led by Chef Zhang Qiang and Chef Ge Chuan You, two renowned Chinese chefs with vast experience in preparing the diverse regional cuisines of China. With Executive Chef Richard Green overseeing, Chefs Zhang and Ge modified the menu to bring a wider array of dishes and incorporate personal touches and secret recipes to put a creative flourish on the traditional dishes.
“Noodles offers a fine dining experience that is different and innovative for Jeddah’s residents and visitors, and we’re pleased to announce its return,” said Hans-Peter Leitzke, Managing Director at Rosewood Corniche. “At Rosewood we pride ourselves in delivering quality food and a memorable dining experience. With Chefs Zhang and Ge at the helm, Rosewood Corniche diners will find just that at Noodles.”
Set on the first floor with panoramic views of the Red Sea, Noodles is a firm favourite among Rosewood Corniche guests for its warm atmosphere, engaging and interactive chefs, and excellent food. Diners have an array of choices, from the chef specials, featuring tofu and dim sum, to more traditional fare accompanied by handmade noodles.
Families in particular gravitate to Noodles for its dedicated Kiddies Bar, where children are actively engaged with chopstick classes, noodle-making lessons and the company of other youngsters, keeping them busy and well-fed.
Designed for both business and leisure travel, Rosewood Corniche is ideally positioned on Jeddah’s Corniche, one of the city’s most impressive districts. The celebrated Jeddah Corniche runs parallel to the Red Sea for over 20 miles, and provides convenient access to the city’s business and leisure areas.
