Nigeria: 27 soldiers killed in jihadist suicide attack

ALBAWABA - At least 27 Nigerian soldiers were killed in a jihadist suicide attack, AFP announced citing the Nigerian army on Sunday.

A suicide attack in the northeast of the country killed dozens of soldiers, the attack was described as the deadliest attack on the military in recent years, two military sources said.

"The suicide attack killed 27 soldiers, including a commander, and seriously wounded several others," an army officer revealed to AFP.
