Network International to offer card services to al khaliji

Network International (“NI”), the most comprehensive and preferred card solution provider in the United Arab Emirates is offering card processing services to an increasing number of customers across the region, the latest one being Qatar based Al Khalij Commercial Bank Q.S.C. (al khaliji). In an agreement signed recently, Network International has agreed to effectively manage al khaliji’s card processing services, from transactions and personalization to fraud management, switching and clearing. The decision on behalf of al khaliji to outsource its card processing and management services is not only a cost effective move, but one which allows the Bank to focus its time and resources on key areas like marketing, sales and credit. Commenting on the partnership, Andrew Ball, Acting Head Consumer Banking at al khaliji, said: “The choice of Network International was a natural one as they are definitely the leaders in the industry, both in terms of technology, capacity to undertake big contracts as well as quality of service. I am sure our work together will add great value to our customer offerings.” Commenting on the tie-up, Abdulla Qassem, Chairman, Network International said, “Network International has, over the years, amply proved its ability to nurture and grow relationships with its partners by offering best-in-class technology platforms and a customer-focused approach. Our teams and technology, employing world-class best practices, ensure that we become an integrated and essential service provider to our partners, in terms of innovation, speed and continuity across all our business relationships.” The Agreement will see Network International assist al khaliji in card scheme certification and will undertake processing of customer card applications, card embossing and personalization, pin generation, card authorization, card-holder statements and payment reconciliations.
