Nakheel won the Teka UAE Football Cup 2010 in a commanding 6-0 victory against Unique Kitchen at the Emirates Aviation Football College Field on Friday. The UAE’s premier corporate football event, the Cup tournament is comprised of four groups of leading clients of Teka’s project and retail departments, together with Teka’s own team, playing six a side football.
The teams which made it through to the final round of the Cup competition were Emaar, Dheeraj & East Coast, Al Futtaim Carillion, Sarieddine Trading, Woodco, Unique Kitchens, Kut Kut and Nakheel. Celebrity TV Chef Osama El-Sayed attended the finals as the guest of honour and presented the cup to the Nakheel team.

The Teka UAE Football Cup closing ceremony will be held at a gala dinner at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel on 18th March 2010. As the winning team, Nakheel will be presented with AED 35,000 and the runner up Unique Kitchen with AED 15,000. An award for the highest scoring player will be presented to Mr. Nidal Odeh, General Manager Projects, Nakheel, and the most popular team award will go to Dheeraj & East Coast.
