Nabil Company for Food Products achieves tremendous growth for 2006/2007

Nabil Food Products Company, the Kingdom’s paramount food manufacturer announced colossal growth in overall sales for the year 2006/2007, accounting for a 25% growth of sales in the local market and 20% in the regional market.

Such substantial performance is attributed to Nabil’s enormous investment in product development, raising the bar in product quality standards and deployment of state of art technology. This has resulted in the consolidation of the company’s leading market position, particularly in the frozen food industry reaching 65% of the market share.

Nabil offers a wide variety of products consisting of chilled, frozen foods and pastries. In continuation of the company’s efforts to providing their customers with top of the line services and premium products, Nabil Company for Food Products has invested a lot of resources into developing their existing lines. The cold cuts line has been expanded by 50%, whilst the pastry line has tripled its capacity. Moreover, the frozen food division of the company, which compromises of 150-200 items, is also undergoing massive growth to include the launch of new yet to be announced products.
Since the early 1990s, Nabil established a strong presence in the regional and international markets exporting to countries like Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Yemen, Iraq, Egypt, Lebanon and the United States of America.  Nabil’s future plans seek to increase their customer base to include consumers in Sweden, France and the United Kingdom.
In continuation of Nabil Company for Food Products’ pioneer business philosophy, the company has expanded its production machinery by 50% deploying the latest technologies in the field of production, merchandising and packaging.  Also, throughout the last two years, Nabil has invested JD5 million to  building its capacity by increasing the working area from 3500 m2 to 9000 m2  forming one of the most efficient industrial complexes holding five factories operating as one.
