MTI Automotive, Egypt's sole importer of Jaguar, announced today the launch of Jaguar's newest luxury sedan, the Jaguar XJ. The all-new Jaguar XJ brings a daring new spirit to automotive luxury. Sleek, sporting and sophisticated, it offers a seductive mix of striking design, breathtaking performance and engineering without compromise. The launch took place at the 15th Automech exhibition, the leading international auto show in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Building on the success of the new XK and XF models, the introduction of the all-new XJ is a landmark for the revitalised Jaguar brand. Clearly positioned as the company’s four-door flagship, it extends the appeal of the XJ to a new generation of customers. Combining Jaguar's international reputation for producing the finest cars with an exciting and unique image, the XJ will invigorate the driving experience.

Jaguar has invested a tremendous amount of resources to reshape the way people look at cars. Designed and developed at Jaguar's Product Development Centre at Whitley in Coventry, UK, the new Jaguar XJ will be built at Jaguar's Advanced Manufacturing Centre at Castle Bromwich in Birmingham, UK.

Proven Jaguar dynamic technologies are taken to new levels in the all-new XJ. Features such as air suspension, Adaptive Dynamics Active Differential Control and quick-ratio power steering deliver the blend of responsive, dynamic handling and refined, supple ride expected from a Jaguar.
The New XJ comes with Premium surround 1200W Bowers & Wilkins system which is comparable in audio quality to the best in-home entertainment. Featuring Advanced infotainment that includes hard drive-based audio and navigation systems, comprehensive connectivity for portable audio and video devices via the powerful Media Hub.
The Media Hub provides flexible connectivity through 2 USB ports Bluetooth audio streaming which allow the user to connect with compatible devices. In addition to that there is a choice of CD / DVD and digital or analogue TV
Adding to the above, the XJ has Side air-bags, curtain air-bags and two-stage driver and front passenger air-bags, all controlled by a seat occupant sensing system to ensure they work only when needed.
The Jaguar brand has been acknowledged this year by J.D. Power and Associates with a joint first ranking in the Vehicle Dependability study 2009. Jaguar’s obsessive attention to detail has continued in the development of the all-new XJ by using the latest ‘virtual’ technologies, which included 40,000 quality-specific assessments during the development stage.
