Demonstrating its commitment to consistently delivering excellent service for its valued customers, MTC-Vodafone (Bahrain), the Kingdom’s most innovative mobile and wireless services provider,  provided advanced human resources and organizational skills courses for all First-Line Managers. The course aims to equip First-Line Managers with broad background and insight into typical human resources management issues regularly faced while managing employees, and to provide information, suggestions, and techniques as to how these challenges can best be met. The end result is to ensure MTC-Vodafone (Bahrain) employees consistently deliver the best customer service in the Kingdom. The course was held at the Sheraton Hotel in Manama on June 18 and 19 in association with TML Training and Getrac Gulf.

Linda Al Jamea, Human Resources manager, MTC-Vodafone (Bahrain) said: “We are very proud to place ourselves on a level above other local companies and organizations by understanding that happy employees are more motivated, do their jobs better and have more positive interactions with their customers. By providing our managers with the tools and techniques needed to inspire excellence amongst employees, MTC-Vodafone (Bahrain) demonstrates our ongoing commitment to our employees and our customers.”

Course feedback was extremely positive, with managers taking great interest in the subject matter and actively participating in workshop role-play situations. Workshop topics included: job competencies and performance management; the line manager as human resources manager; balancing technical work with people-management; motivating oneself and others; appreciating the differences between people; effectively managing conflict; and effective team delivery.

MTC-Vodafone (Bahrain) provides advanced training to its employees on a regular basis with the aim of ensuring the skills of its work force remain cutting edge. The people skills training for First-Line Managers is part of a continuous series of leadership and management skills development courses offered for managers.
