MSC Malaysia to strengthen presence in the Middle East through Malaysia services exhibition (MSE) 2009 in Dubai
“MSC Malaysia Status Companies offer proven and credible solutions, content and services to attract potential buyers and investors”

The public and private sectors in the Middle East will have the opportunity to see some of the best ICT solutions and services offered by the MSC Malaysia status companies at the Malaysia Services Exhibition (MSE 2009) in Dubai, UAE.

Driver of the MSC Malaysia initiative, Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC), will be leading the ICT cluster at MSE 2009 at the Dubai Airport Exhibition Centre in taking place between March 17 and 19.  The delegation will be led by Niran Noor, MDeC’s Vice-President, Marketing and Branding.

The success of the inaugural MSE last year has prompted more MSC Malaysia status companies to take part in MSE 2009 with 19 companies participating in the exhibition compared to 11 companies which showcased their expertise at MSE 2008.

MSE 2009 will be an exclusive platform for Malaysian companies to cater the needs of the public and private sector business needs in the UAE and the other Gulf Cooperation Countries.

Malaysia’s international experience and understanding of the Middle East market will be an added advantage for the MSC Malaysia status companies to introduce their ICT related solutions, content and services.

Several MSC Malaysia status companies have successfully established themselves in the Middle East countries following similar exhibitions which were previously held in the region.

The event is organised by the Malaysian External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), Malaysia’s national trade promotion organisation which has 34 offices worldwide, including Dubai, Jeddah and Cairo.

MDeC’s chief executive officer, Dato’ Badlisham Ghazali said the 19 companies participating in MSE 2009 will be offering solutions and services in E-business, IT security and management,

Outsourcing services , Multimedia Content Development, Mobile applications and services,  Software solutions providers, Customer care and consultancy and others.

“The MSC Malaysia Status companies have the expertise, capability and capacity to provide the best solutions and services.  There is great potential for the companies to do well in this region,” said Badlisham.

He said MSE 2009 will also enable these MSC Malaysia status companies to expand Malaysia’s potential as an emerging market which provides very competitive ICT based solutions and services.

Badlisham said the success of the inaugural MSE 2008 in Sharjah has proven that the solutions and services offered by MSC Malaysia status companies are much sought after by the public and private sectors in the Middle East market.

“One of the attractions of our companies is that the solutions are not just cost effective but they are also fool-proof since they had the experience to advise the clients,” he added.

The exhibitors meanwhile are confident their products and services will gain the attention of the businesses and the governments in the GCC region because the services and solutions are of world class.
