Mr. Marco Kempe, New Executive Sous-Chef at Grand Hyatt Amman 


Grand Hyatt Amman recently announced the appointment of Mr. Marco Kempe as the hotel’s new Executive Sous Chef.

Chef Marco has extensive experience in the world of culinary arts that extends well over 19 years, during which time he has worked in the classiest restaurants and hotels around the world.  His professional career began after he obtained a degree in Hotel Management from the University of Munich in 1989; since then, he has worked as Chef de Partie in a Bavarian restaurant in Munich, and has also held senior positions in various hotels and restaurants in Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Dubai.  Before joining the Grand Hyatt team, he held the position of Executive Chef at the Ramada Hotel in Bahrain.

Mr. Rabah Abu Sbeitan, Executive Chef at Grand Hyatt Amman, expressed his delight at the appointment of Chef Marco, saying: “We at Grand Hyatt Amman are delighted to welcome Chef Marco, whose creativity and culinary skills have brought him international recognition.  His expertise will add to the quality of our services and help us to attain the distinction we seek.”
