An Iranian reformist Website on Wednesday said defeated Iranian opposition leader Mir Hossein Mousavi vowed not to let the blood of protestors killed in post-election violence go in vain.
“We will not allow the blood of this youth to be suppressed,” Mousavi reportedly said.
Mousavi’s remark came Tuesday night when he and his wife visited Sohrab A’rabi, 19, who disappeared during a June 15 demonstration. The family was told that he was shot dead. He was buried Monday. The Website reported candles were lit in streets of Arabi’s neighborhood as hundreds chanted “death to the dictator.”
