Style-makers in Jordan’s capital this week received an eye-full of colour at the MOTOPARTY, highlighting the vibrant new PEBL handsets now available in the market.  Organized in conjunction with Play 99.6, the event featured the Amman debut of DJ Adam, resident at some of the UK’s hottest clubs including Chinawhite, as well as guest DJ for Eminem, Justin Timberlake, and other music icons.

Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT), turned a spotlight on the four beautiful shades now added to the smooth, pure lines of the iconic PEBL, showcasing the driving importance of color inspiration in the mobile space.

More than 300 of Jordan’s most discerning opinion-formers joined Motorola for the MOTOPARTY, getting an up-close look at the green, pink, blue and orange PEBLs.  These new handsets are both ideal summer accessories as well as feature-packed communications devices.

“Trend-setters in Jordan want to enhance their look through distinctive handsets, and this demand has led Motorola to leverage our leadership in color and design to make the PEBL expressive and refreshing,” said Husam Atout, MOTOPARTY host and Area Sales Manager for Motorola Mobile Devices in the Levant and Iraq region.

“The MOTOPARTY is a celebration of summertime, style, colour, and the continued success of Motorola in the Levant,” Atout added.

Hosted at Nai in the Al Qasr hotel, the MOTOPARTY was accessorized with photographs by David LaChapelle, one of the world’s most edgy and iconic photographers and directors.  Inspired by the Motorola PEBL handset, LaChapelle created a series of glamorous images portraying the coloured PEBLs as pieces of art being burgled from a museum.

Zafer Younis of Play 99.6, an organizer of the MOTOPARTY, said, “As Jordan’s number one hit music station, we’re always keen to be involved with the biggest and best parties in Amman.”

“We’re very proud to have worked with Motorola to successfully bring together the VIP guests, the fantastic entertainment, and the most stylish handsets, and we look forward to bringing more glamorous parties to Amman in the future,” Younis added.

Designed to bring a burst of color and style to Jordan’s consumers, the new bright and bold PEBL phones are now available from selected Motorola dealers across the country.
