Motivate Publishing unveiled its new look online book store at the 17th Abu Dhabi International Book Fair today.

The site showcases more than 200 of Motivate Publishing’s Middle East titles and a select range of products from the company’s Arabian Gallery, based in Garhoud, Dubai.  The gallery exhibits some of the region’s finest artists and is the exclusive supplier of Wilfred Thesiger Fine Art Prints for the Middle East. A variety of antiquarian and rare books are also displayed and are available for purchase online.

“The beauty of booksarabia.com is that we have something for everyone – from lavishly illustrated coffee-table books to fine art prints, all showcasing Arabian Heritage. Customers can browse and buy securely online anywhere, anytime. They can also create a wish list and sign up to be the first to receive our latest news and promotions.” said Jonathan Griffiths, General Manager – Books.

Motivate Publishing currently produces approximately 30 titles a year and has worked closely with some of the region’s greatest explorers, writers and photographers – Sir Wilfred Thesiger, Ronald Codrai OBE and Sir Patrick Lichfield, to name but a few. The publishing house has also collaborated with royal photographer Noor Ali Rashid, on a range of titles, including the soon to be released Sheikh Khalifa – Life and Times. Motivate also publishes My Vision: Challenges in the Race for Excellence by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai.

The site’s redesign is just part of Motivate’s broader strategy to encourage international interest in the region.

“As a company we have always placed strong emphasis on helping to preserve and promote the cultural heritage of the UAE. The development of booksarabia.com means that we can share our love of this region’s culture with the rest of the world, we are delighted to have had the opportunity to launch the site at such an international event,”  said Ian Fairservice, Managing Partner, Motivate Publishing.
