Morocco's King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander of the Royal Armed Forces, appointed Monday lieutenant-general Abdelaziz Bennani, chief inspector of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR).
During the audience, the Moroccan king gave instructions to General Benanni to lead a proximity action through field inspections, and visits to military units, MAP reported.
General Bennani will remain in the top command of southern areas until the king appoints a new person in this post.
