The Moroccan oil company (ONAREP) signed Wednesday two onshore oil drilling contracts with a group of US and British firms, Morocco’s official news agency (MAP) reported.
The contracts cover two zones in northern Morocco over 12,800 square meters, said the MAP.
Under the 12-month contract, the group, made up of the US Anschutz Morocco Corporation and the British Oil Exploration Limited, will carry out geological and geo-physical studies to assess the zone's oil potential – Albawaba.com
