Morocco's Prince Moulay Rachid, young brother of King Mohammed VI, attended in Delft, Netherlands Tuesday a memorial service in honor of Princess Juliana, mother of Queen Beatrix.

The funeral procession of queen mother Juliana set off from the Noordeinde palace in the Hague to the “Nieuwe Kerk” church in the nearby town of Delft where she will be laid to rest, MAP reported.

The queen mother, highly respected for her social work and humbleness, ascended to the throne in 1948 and abdicated to her daughter Queen Beatrix in 1980. She died on March 20 at the age of 94. (Albawaba.com)
