The gala honored the involvement of 12 great actresses (Sienna Miller, Eva Longoria, Christina Ricci, Emily Blunt, Marcia Cross, Andie MacDowell, Helen Hunt, Lauren Hutton, Milla Jovovich, Jessica Lange, Susan Sarandon and Mira Sorvino) and their efforts to support UNICEF in the global fight against inadequate education and illiteracy.
