Locally-based theme Specialist Mivan Depa Contracting LLC, revealed that it has been appointed for the upgrading and fit-out works of Magic Planet Entertainment Centre, located in Dubai’s renowned Deira City Centre Shopping Mall.
As the first project to be executed by Mivan Depa in the UAE, this is the company’s first step to regional presence in the Interiors Theming Sector, as Dubai is now the largest market for themes in the world. “We are delighted to have been awarded this exciting and refreshing maiden project; it is great news for our company, Depa United Group and the UAE market”, declared Paul Austin, General Manager of Mivan Depa.
The work scope consists of the total refurbishment of Magic Planet’s existing facilities, including renovating the children entertainment area, installing high tech sound and light systems, implementing specialist joinery and metal works as well as the construction of new children’s playground, rides and attractions.

Mivan Depa is currently concluding the gallery fit-out works at the iconic Museum of Islamic Arts in Doha, Qatar. This prestigious project was designed by one of the world’s top architects, I.M. PEI.
Having recently teamed up with Depa, the Middle East’s premier hotel interiors contracting company, to form Mivan Depa Contracting LLC, the newly established joint venture provides a dedicated service to cater for specialist interior and exterior theme requirements in the Middle East and Gulf region.
