This week 1 of the 9 MIT Arab Business Plan Competition finalists will be
awarded USD 50,000 prize money at an awards ceremony at Marriot Hotel & Omar Al
Khayyam Casino, Cairo, Egypt. Second-prize runners-up will receive prize money
worth USD 10,000 and USD 5,000 respectively.
The 9 qualified are from the following countries: 3 from Egypt, 3 from Lebanon,
1 from Yemen, Palestine and the United Arab Emirates.
