The Qatari emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani Tuesday issued an order to reshuffle the cabinet. The order appointed Sheikh Hamad Bin Faisal Al Thani minister of economy and trade, QNA reported. The order was immediately effective.
Following the publication of this order, the newly appointed minister took the oath of office before the emir.
Later on the day, the Qatari ruler left Doha, heading for New York to take part in the annual World Economic Forum. (albawaba.com)
