Microsoft brings international partners’ innovation to the Kingdom

Microsoft in Saudi Arabia has recently held a workshop at Yamama University in Riyadh, hosting a group of international partners with the aim of transferring their expertise and latest technological innovations, applied in their countries, to the Kingdom. The findings will be used to better serve Microsoft’s customers in the fields of medicine, finance, education, government, industry and communications.

The meeting underscores Microsoft’s commitment to provide the most sophisticated solutions available in the world to overcome the barriers faced by its customers in the Kingdom. It is also a manifestation of Microsoft’s vision to localize its partners’ expertise from around the world and apply it in the Kingdom.

“Through this meeting, Microsoft aims to study and analyze the technological innovations achieved by its international partners in their countries to find new ways to meet the local needs in the Kingdom for reducing the cost of technology at companies and government institutions and help them improve their performance and efficiency,” said Dr. Khaled Al-Dhaher, general manager of Microsoft in Saudi Arabia.

“Microsoft has collaborated with its partners in inventing and developing a number of products, making it possible for our partners around the world to transfer their latest technological innovations to the Saudi market,” he added, emphasizing the importance of these solutions and their ability to improve operations and dynamics, empowering companies and government institutions to face the challenges of today.

Expressing his excitement to be part of transferring his company’s latest products to the Saudi market, David Harvey, Head of Business Development of Fiserv said: “The participation of Fiserv aims to review the various investment opportunities in the Saudi information technology field. We are glad to be one of the partners selected by Microsoft to participate and contribute to this workshop where everyone was informed of the latest international technological solutions and got to study the useful application of these solutions to meet the needs of the local market.”
