Golden couple Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas have pledged their support to a charity working to help missing and exploited children.
The Hollywood pair, who have been in Wales with their eight-week-
old son, Dylan, are attending a London gala this month, October, to celebrate the European launch of the International Center For Missing and Exploited Children.
They will be joined by guest of honor and patron, Cherie Booth, wife of British Prime Minister Tony Blair, and Lady Shakira Caine, wife of Sir Michael Caine.
The charity was launched in the America last year, with guest of
honor First Lady Hilary Clinton. It focuses on the international arm of issues like child abduction and the trafficking of children for sexual exploitation.
Co-founder Lady Catherine Meyer says, "last year in the States
alone, 354,000 children went missing though of course some were
happily recovered. But we believe parental abduction accounts for
around 80% of these, and 10% are then taken out of the country” – Wenn.
