Memac Ogilvy Solidifies Position As Digital Leader in Middle East
Memac Ogilvy most decorated interactive agency at Dubai Lynx 2009
Memac Ogilvy, the region’s only truly integrated communications network, had an outstanding evening at the Dubai Lynx Awards 2009, bagging 5 of 11 awards in interactive categories, more than any other agency. The wins were part of a total haul of 13 medals overall.
In 2009, the communications sector has been keen on moving forward with interactive activity, particularly in light of seeking alternative mediums due to the global economic downturn. The wins at the Dubai Lynx highlight Memac Ogilvy’s position to blaze the virtual trail in the industry.
“We are constantly looking to be at the cutting edge of communications solutions to best serve our clients, consistently raising the bar in the sector regardless of which of Memac Ogilvy’s business units a client is engaging,” said Ronald Howes, Regional Managing Director of Memac Ogilvy GCC.
“To be on that cutting edge we know that, today, this means digital communications. While we have a business unit, OgilvyOne, which is dedicated to our clients’ virtual needs, all of our offerings include digital engagement. This kind of holistic approach underlies our ability to deliver as 360 degree brand stewards,” continued Howes.
The Agency has integrated utilizing all digital channels to communicate the right message at the right time in the right channel as part of its ongoing mission. Ultimately this creates engaging and responsive online content which cuts through the clutter and elevates a client’s brand message. With a network that spans 11 full service offices across the MENA region coupled with this communications philosophy, Memac Ogilvy is in a unique position to deliver on its clients’ needs.
In interactive, Memac Ogilvy took home awards for work delivered on GSK, Motorola, DHL and Emirates Environmental Group in addition to multiple wins for GM/ACDelco and Chili’s in other categories.
