The U.S. military said a Marine has died in a non-combat related incident in Iraq's western Anbar province. According to the AP, a statement said the Marine with the Multi-National Division-West died Saturday.
Elsewhere, four Iraqis, one a police officer, were killed on Saturday and six civilians were hurt by a bomb attack in the Iraqi capital, a medic at the hospital told AFP. Those killed were three civilians and a police lieutenant colonel, the medic said.
The blast was in the mainly Sunni Muslim area of Mansur in the west of the city. The official had said earlier that two people died and 10 were wounded in the attack.
