“white goods that are no longer white”
LG adopts elegant and luxury art designs in home appliances
LG Electronics, the world’s leading innovator of home appliances technology, and its distributor, United Yousef M. Naghi company in Saudi Arabia, organized a press conference in Al Khobar showroom of Extra, the leading electronics and appliances specialty stores in the Kingdom. LG Electronics introduced the new limited edition of Modern flower Refrigerators (sxs), and Direct-Drive Washing Machines.
The edition will combine state of the art home technology with cutting-edge interior style, producing four eye-catching home appliances created to challenge the design and function of traditional white goods.
The limited edition modern flower refrigerators and washing machines comes in four stylish flower prints: Cloisonné – striking dark flowers on a black background, Imperial Flower – a regal red floral design on white, the light green on white airy floral Sevilla and a modern geometric design Ribailagua.
As LG transforms its business strategy to focus from low-end to premium products, its unique and innovative devices have started a new trend in home appliances - white goods that are no longer white. Many of LG's appliances are designed to visually work with today's new home styles.
'We will continue to lead the industry with never-before-thought-of designs and technologies in all of our products”, said, Mr. Simon Lee, General Manager of LG Electronics in Saudi Arabia.” Now LG can offer its costumers with more range of designs and colors that are suitable to their various styles, through our distributors in the Saudi Region”, added Mr. Lee.
“We are delighted to partner with the leader and innovator of Home Appliances in the market LG Electronics, and we believe that the new approach from LG Electronics will change the lifestyles of the modern Saudi consumers”, Said, Shk. Ammar Naghi – President of United Yousef M. Naghi Co.
Mr. Mohamed Jalal, the CEO of Extra, a specialty store that will have 14 branches in the Kingdom by the end of this year, said “We are excited to be the major outlet through which consumers can experience the innovation of LG’s latest line of products, and this new line of refrigerators & washing machines by LG will guarantee that we are the destination store for those who value the LG name and the outstanding quality it symbolizes”.
LG is not just about looks, though - they have taken some of the pain out of housework by making their innovative products easier to use as well as nicer to look at displays in specialty stores extra. LG's design philosophy is not just about style; rather, it is about creating products that offer practical value to customers, while at the same time, hopefully adding a little fun.
However, simply having a pretty face does not guarantee being a premium brand in today's competitive business world. That's why LG puts just as much emphasis on performance and technology as it does design. For example, LG was the world's first to incorporate steam technology in a washing machine, which is now becoming a common feature for new products in this category.
Worth to mention, that LG had held a dealer convention the 12th of this month to discuss LG’s performance in cooperation with its distributor United Yousef M. Naghi in Dammam. LG believes its emphasis on innovative designs and pioneering technologies will give them an edge in the premium electronics market for years to come.
