Lenovo is setting the scene for GITEX Computer Shopper with a range of retail promotions designed to offer users great deals on its innovative ThinkPad T-series and R-series range of mobile computers. Retail promotions taking place at reseller locations throughout Dubai are to be complemented by a ‘best price for the technology’ guarantee at the Computer Shopper show. Lenovo is extending its promotions through its regional partners stands located at the Computer Shopper event during Gitex.
"With the IBM technology of ThinkPad T-Series, R-Series and ThinkCentres that Lenovo has inherited, Lenovo is focused on bringing innovation to the PC and notebook markets," said Imtiaz Ghani, general manager, Lenovo Middle East, Egypt and Pakistan. "Customers won’t only be getting the latest industry standards specifications, Lenovo will provide them with technology features that allow advanced levels of computing with secure, wireless and easy to use mobile solutions.”
As part of the promotion, Lenovo will be giving away ThinkPad carry cases to ThinkPad T-Series and R-Series buyers at Computer Shopper **. At approximately one inch thin and with a travel weight of 4.5 pounds, the ThinkPad T43 is both thin and light, making it the ideal notebook choice for people on the go. The ThinkPad T43 also features a multi-layered approach to security to manage increasing security threats. Select models of the T43 come equipped with
the integrated fingerprint reader with Password Manager and the Embedded Security Subsystem. With the integrated fingerprint reader, users encrypt files using fingerprint authentication, combining convenience with strong notebook security.
Lenovo is also offering the ThinkPad R50e notebook, which provides users with almost a virtual ‘security guard’. The Client Security Solution makes the R-series the most secure notebooks available in the market today. Weighing less than 3kg, the ThinkPad R50e has excellent wireless performance with Intel® Centrino™ Mobile Technology, and offers the best blend of essential features for frequently mobile users who want easy, ready-to-run computing.
