Mustafa Dirani, a Lebanese prisoner slated for release in the upcoming swap deal between the Hizbullah and Israel, will give testimony in his lawsuit against Israel via video following his release.
Attorney Zvi Rish, representing Dirani in his lawsuit, had earlier submitted a request to the Tel Aviv District court, asking to allow Dirani to testify in court before the imminent prisoner exchange. This came in the framework of Dirani's lawsuit against Israel for torture, humiliation and rape he had undergone in the course of investigations in Israel.
Meanwhile, on Monday, Israeli soldiers began exhuming the remains of Lebanese activists buried in northern Israel as part of the prisoner swap deal with Hizbullah.
The cemetery, situated in an army base north of the Sea of Galilee, has been used for Lebanese killed in clashes with Israeli soldiers. (Albawaba.com)
