Last chance to win in Dubai Shopping Malls Group’s ‘Surprising Millions’ campaign

This is the last week for shoppers wishing to try their luck at the Dubai Shopping Malls Group’s (DSMG) ‘Surprising Millions’ weekly raffle draw.

Ten lucky shoppers will walk away with a jackpot of AED 50, 000 dirhams worth of prizes each in the forthcoming weekly draw to be held at the Modhesh World at Airport Expo on Friday, August 14, 2009. Names of the winners will be announced at 7.00 pm at a gala event at the venue.

A combination of instant shopping refunds and weekly mega raffle draws, the ‘Surprising Millions’ is the largest ever campaign by Dubai Shopping Malls Group for DSS. During the last eight weeks of the campaign, winners from 26 different nationalities have become richer. To take part in the raffle draws, shoppers should spend a minimum amount of AED 200 at any of the malls participating in the campaign. Those using their MasterCard credit cards will receive an extra raffle coupon.

Commenting on the highly successful campaign, Majid Al Ghurair, Chairman of Dubai Shopping Malls Group, said: “With a total of AED 5 million worth of prizes, ‘Surprising Millions’ is one of our best and largest campaigns for DSS so far. Every week we received thousands of raffle coupons, a healthy indication of the large number of people who have shopped at the twenty three participating malls.

“Apart from the ‘Surprising Millions’ campaign, amazing offers from various brands, unique winning opportunities and spectacular entertainment activities in different malls, have significantly helped to generate interest in DSS this year.”

Ghurair also stated that the draws are becoming more and more popular among the Emarati families, around 26% of the winners of the weekly raffle draws are UAE nationals who have shown a keen interest in the shopping offers and winning opportunities. Indian nationals are the next big winners in the weekly raffle draws that have had a total of 80 winners so far from various nationalities.
