ALBAWABA - Many international leaders have congratulated Masoud Bazshkian on his win in the Iranian presidential election. After a close contest with conservative contender Saeed Jalili, Pezeshkian was declared the winner of the presidential election.
Masoud Pezeshkian was congratulated on becoming the President of Iran by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, according to a Saturday report from the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) in Riyadh.
With heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for Pezeshkian's success, advancement, and prosperity for Iran and its people, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said. He underlined how ready he is to fortify and expand the ties that support the shared interests of the two countries.
Masoud Pezeshkian received congratulations from Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday in Moscow, the Kremlin said, after Pezeshkian's victory in the second round of Iran's presidential elections.
"I hope that your presidency will further strengthen the future of constructive and comprehensive bilateral cooperation for the benefit of our friendly peoples," Putin said.
Along with congratulating Pezeshkian, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad expressed his gratitude in Damascus, highlighting the significance of strengthening Syria's strategic alliance with Iran.
"I congratulate you on earning the trust of the esteemed Iranian people," President Assad wrote in a congrats message posted on the official Syrian presidential social media accounts. "I also extend my congratulations to the Islamic Republic of Iran, its leadership, and its people on the success of the electoral process." I hope you are successful in maintaining the power, stability, and security of Iran."
Assad emphasized the tenacity of Iran and the solid, long-standing alliance based on respect for one another, common ground, and unwavering values. "Resistance will remain the common path we follow," he said, expressing his determination to working with Pezeshkian to strengthen the strategic connection between Syria and Iran and to investigate new avenues for bilateral collaboration.
