King Mohammed VI pays official visit to Singapore

The Moroccan King Mohammed VI has recently paid an official visit to Singapore, following an invitation from Singapore’s President Sellapan Rama Nathan.

 

The king was accompanied by a high ranking delegation made up from Mohamed Benaissa, the Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Abdelaziz Meziane Belfkih and Mohamed Moatassim, the king’s advisors, Mohamed Rochdi Chraibi, member of the Royal Cabinet, Ahmed Toufiq, Minister of Habous and Islamic Affairs, Fathallah Oualalou, Minister of Finance and Privatization and Taib Fassi Fihri, delegated Minister in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.

 

Upon the king’s arrival to the international airport of Changi, he was first greeted by the Minister of State at the Prime Minister office, Othman Benharon Youssof, by the ambassador of Morocco in Indonesia, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand, residing in Djakarta, Abderahmane Idrissi Alami and by the honorary consul of Morocco in Singapore, Ho Cheow Teck.

 

Le Matin reports that the official reception ceremony of King Mohammed VI in Singapur took place on April 29, in the presidential palace of Istana.
