Egyptian actor Khaled Zaki is married to four women in his latest series Al Ikhtiar Al Sab (The Hard Choice).
The show, which was just wrapped up, also stars Lebanese songstress Madeline Tabr, Egyptian actress Dalal Abdul Aziz, Ijalal Zaki and the new and upcoming actress Safi.
In an interview with ‘AL Jumhuriah’ newspaper, Zaki said, “the role I play is a man who was first married to his one true love. However, his one true love has a terrible accident, which forces her to abort her unborn child, and stops her from ever getting pregnant again. His second wife gives the man twins.”
Meanwhile, the man finds out that one of his wives, the forth is involved with an organization that smuggles Egyptian antiques and archeological artifacts to foreign countries.
The story, however, gets saucier as it goes.
Zaki’s first wife, asks her husband to get her one of the twins that his second wife gave birth to. She argues that she would love to have a child of her own.
The series is based on a story by Nawal Mustafa and a script by Mohammad Al Basousi. It is directed by Youssef Sharafeddine and costarrs Rojina and Khaled Jamal and Fikri Abatha.
