Jordan's King Abdullah II arrived in the United Arab Emirates on Thursday for a visit of several days during which he will deliver a keynote speech at a conference on information technology.
The official WAM news agency said King Abdullah was welcomed at the eastern Al-Ain airport by Abu Dhabi's Crown Prince Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahayan, deputy commander-in-chief of the UAE armed forces.
On his departure from Amman, a palace official said Abdullah would hold talks with high-ranking Emirati officials on "ways of boosting bilateral relations, as well as the latest developments in the region".
The king is scheduled Sunday to deliver the opening speech at a conference on "state management in the age of information technology", organized by the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies, organizers said.
