Qassim Sultan, Director General of Dubai Municipality, has held talks with Dr. Abdul Razzaq Taishan, the Jordanian Minister of Municipal, Rural and Environmental Affairs, at his office in Dubai.
According to Khaleej Times, the two reviewed means of enriching cooperation between the Dubai Municipality and the municipalities of Jordan. Dr. Kaleeb Al Fawaz, Consul General of Jordan, and Bassim Al Khateeb, Director of the Office of the Jordanian Minister of Municipal, Rural and Environmental Affairs, also attended the meeting, which took place on Tuesday.
For his part, Sultan praised the cooperation between the two countries and stated the civic body's readiness for the exchange of expertise in engineering fields. Moreover, Sultan and Dr. Taishan reviewed ways of cooperation in the field of municipal work, particularly in connection with the activities of the Arab Towns Organization (ATO).
In return, the Jordanian Minister praised the cooperation between the Dubai Municipality and Jordanian municipalities and also hailed Dubai for its impressive progress and development in a wide range of areas. (Albawaba.com)
