Jordan’s new PM to address economic and political challenges

Jordan’s monarch, Abdullah the Second, has appointed his chief-of-staff, Jaafar Hassan, as prime minister. The appointment comes after the Islamic Action Front secured major gains in the country’s parliamentary election. Hassan has yet to make consultations before forming a new cabinet.
