Jagdish gets first time lucky with Postcard Millionaire

Evening March 21st, 2007 Jagdish Chandra Dangi, during a casual outing with his family on the street of Bur Dubai passed by an Emirates post outlet where he saw a crowd of people purchasing the Postcard Millionaire packs. He had heard and read a lot about the product and how it had changed the lives of many people but for no particular reason never really bought one himself. But this time it felt like a divine indication from God, that made him purchase his first ever Postcard Millionaire pack.

With absolutely no expectations to win he took a silent vow in his mind that if he won he would donate half the amount towards the renovation of his family deity’s temple in his hometown Rajasthan. After nine years in Dubai he decided to bring his family, wife Shakuntala and son Sagar, to stay along with him.

“I believe that it is my little son and Gods grace that has brought me all this luck. Therefore I owe all the money of this win to them completely. As planned I will invest half the amount in the renovation of my family deity’s temple in my hometown and the rest I will save for the future of my son. But more than everything I am extremely grateful to Postcard Millionaire for facilitating this win.”

EMP officials drew Jagdish’s winning number 4503585002 during the 25th Draw of the Postcard Millionaire campaign, which was held at Al Ain.

Residents from all over the UAE and visitors have a chance to win a total of AED30 million during the third edition of the Postcard Millionaire campaign, with the purchase of an AED30 Postcard Millionaire pack. Participants are eligible for entry into one weekly draw for AED100, 000 and into the upcoming quarterly draw for AED200, 000.
