Cyprus Foreign Minister George Iacovou met Monday in Rome with his Italian counterpart Franco Frattini and briefed him on the latest developments in the Cyprus issue, according to CNA news agency.
An official press release issued in Nicosia said the Italian Foreign Minister highlighted the need for the continuation of efforts to reach a Cyprus settlement, noting his country's willingness to contribute in this direction.
