AL BAWABA - The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported that Hamas has begun assembling and storing advanced weapons outside the Gaza Strip, amid growing indications that the United States may retreat from its demand for the movement’s disarmament as part of the Gaza reconstruction plan.
According to Israeli sources, these weapons are being stored in unspecified African countries, as well as in Yemen and other nations. This comes amid reports that the administration of US President Donald Trump is considering removing the disarmament phase from its peace plan, due to stalled negotiations over Gaza’s future governance and the difficulty of securing international commitments for a disarmament force.
Meanwhile, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz stated that efforts to destroy Hamas tunnels extending under the “yellow line” are advancing, with the Israeli military employing explosives and liquid concrete to seal the tunnels in areas it controls.

Additionally, Israel’s Channel 12 aired a report highlighting what it described as newly discovered documents—diaries belonging to a Hamas commander—found in Beit Hanoun.
According to the report, the diaries detail how the movement allegedly uses civilian infrastructure, including schools, hospitals, and UN facilities, to support its military operations.
The report also noted that Hamas operatives repurpose unexploded Israeli ordnance and includes descriptions of ambush plans, as well as the burial of ammunition and rockets in public facilities.
