Israeli forces pullout from northern Gaza Strip, leaving eight Palestinians dead

Israeli occupation forces withdrew Saturday from the northern Gaza Strip towns of Jabalia and Beit Lahia, leaving eight dead, scores of wounded and dozens of houses demolished after a four-day raid, Palestinain medical sources and witnesses reoprted. 

 

On Friday, three Palestinians were killed, including a boy to raise the death toll of the military operation to eight. 

 

Medics at Odwan Hospital, in Beit Lahia, said that the 14-year-old Dhahi Nasser, of Jabalia, was instantly killed when Israeli soldiers fired a shell towards him, tearing his body apart. 

 

Meanwhile, Israeli snipers, positioned atop houses in Jabalia, killed the 17-year-old Saleh Abu Hazaa with a live bullet in the chest, medics added, according to WAFA

 

According to these sources, Abdul Aziz al-Ashqar, 34, was instantly killed when an Israeli shell directly hit his head. 

 

More than 150 Palestinians were wounded, medics said. They reported that the number of the civilians wounded on Friday was 44. 

 

The attack left more than 40 houses demolished and vast areas of razed agricultural land, witnesses said. (albawaba.com)
