Israeli Arab workers scuffled with police during a second day of protests Tuesday outside of Nazareth in northern Israel, causing at least one injury.
Some 200 unemployed Israeli Arab workers, who blame the city council for closing the quarry where they worked, blocked the road outside Nazareth and denounced Israeli discrimination against them.
At least one protester was taken to hospital with reportedly minor injuries.
In a similar demonstration Monday, Arab Israeli MP Abdel Malik Dahamshe was hit by police officers as they dispersed some 200 protesting Arabs.
