Israeli warplanes launched two airstrikes in the Gaza Strip on Sunday, shortly after a rocket fire from the Palestinian territory, according to the military.

In a statement, the army said its forces struck several military targets in a Hamas compound in northern Gaza and two vessels.

No injuries were reported.

The army said the attacks came after a rocket was fired from Gaza into Israeli territory.

There was no Palestinian comment on the Israeli attacks.
