ALBAWABA - Israeli occupation forces shot dead three Palestinians said to have killed three Israeli settlers in the Jordan Valley a month ago.

Four other Palestinians were also wounded Thursday, when the Israeli forces stormed the Old City of Nablus in the West Bank to nab the three Palestinian men.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed the deaths by announcing the "martyrdom of  three citizens." It said two of them "were completely disfigured as a result of the intense shooting at them."

The ministry said the bodies "were recovered from a house surrounded by the occupation army," pointing out that the site was "bombed and destroyed by missiles."

Earlier Thursday, Palestinian media outlets reported that Israeli forces stormed the Old City of Nablus, surrounding a house in the Yasmina area.

The forces shot live bullets, and fired missiles at the house, according to the Palestinian News and Information Agency, Wafa.

The Israeli occupation army said that two of the dead, it identified as Hassan Qatanani and Muath al-Masri "are the perpetrators of the Jordan Valley operation." That was a reference to the shooting dead of  three Israeli women settlers near the Hamra checkpoint in the Jordan Valley on April 7.

The third, identified as Ibrahim Hora, assisted the two prime suspects, Israel said.
