ALBAWABA - Israeli Air Force confirmed it successfully intercepted four unmanned aerial vehicles that made their way to Israeli territory from the east.
It added via X post that two aircraft were intercepted before crossing into the territory of the country. Policy alerts have been triggered.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq released a statement claiming responsibility for four drone attacks targeting "vital targets" in Tel Aviv. The group posted on Telegram confirming the launch of drones towards northern and southern Israel.
Nonetheless, Israeli Air Forces confirmed intercepting a single rocket launched from Yemen, Israeli media reported on Monday.
According to media reports, the interception of the rocket caused alerts heard in the southwestern regions of Israel. Alerts were activated in the areas of the Judean Lowlands, Judea and Kish.
AFP reported that firefighters in Israel are dealing with a fire that erupted west of Jerusalem which the service revealed was caused by missile fragments or interceptions.
