Iran's Interior Minister Abdolvahed Mousavi Lari is to leave Tehran for Khartoum on Wednesday in response to an invitation by his Sudanese counterpart.
According to IRNA, Interior Ministry spokesman Jahanbakhsh Khanjani said on Tuesday that during his three-day stay in Khartoum Lari will hold talks with Sudanese officials on issues of mutual interest and implementation of the formerly reached agreements.
Khanjani said that an agreement had been signed by Iranian and Sudanese interior ministers in Tehran last year, which calls for mutual cooperation in the fields of security as well as campaign against terrorism and smuggle of drugs.
