Spokesman for Iranian Foreign Ministry Hamid-Reza Asefi on Sunday commented on the latest developments regarding Iran's nuclear activities, by saying he believed parts of the resolution adopted by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) were not based on reality.

Talking to reporters, the spokesman stated that for a multitude of reasons such as Iran's "sincere" cooperation with IAEA and also the fact that it has nothing to conceal from the international body, Iran's file is not to be referred to the Security Council.

He remarked that the US failed to get its pre-planned resolution ratified, pointing out that the US-proposed resolution underwent many changes.

However, he added, this was not what the Islamic Republic of Iran was after.

Commenting on some claims saying that Iran has asked the German ambassador to leave Iran, Asefi stressed nothing of the sort had been requested from the German embassy in Tehran.

Stressing the responsibility of US troops in safeguarding security in Iraqi borders, the Foreign Ministry Spokesman said Iran, too, was controlling its own borders.
